This font is written using a broad fountain-pen and clearly shows the origin of metal type blackletter.Ehmcke writes: This beautiful German lettering sets the highest standards for the author's abilities, because the rotation of the fountain-pen requires skill, adopting to the strong vertical stems and the reciprocating curved strokes.
