What I thought was another incomplete gem from the Dover clipart book called Art Deco Initials actually turned out to be the handiwork of berserker fontmeister Alphonse E. Tripp, which was originallt named Dignity Roman. The fontâs graceful, curvy charm put me in mind of a painting by the French Romatic painter Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, which lends its name to this humble effort. The freeware version is caps-only; if youâd like the complete font, including all the bells and whistles that come with the Adobe character set, check out Day Tripper NF.
