The TeX Gyre Chorus is a font based on the URW Chancery L Medium Italic font distributed with Ghostscript. The original, ITC Zapf Chancery, was designed in 1979 by Hermann Zapf who was inspired by handwritten letterforms of the Italian Renaissance (currently, other variants of this typeface are available). Compared to URW Chancery L Medium Italic, TeX Gyre Chorus is heavily extended and contains more than 900 glyphs. Unlike for other fonts from the TeX Gyre collection, Greek letters are missing and so are small caps (using capital forms of chancery characters for typesetting whole words should be forbidden by law)Copyright 2006, 2009 for TeX Gyre extensions by B. Jackowski and J.M. Nowacki (on behalf of TeX users groups). This work is released under the GUST Font License -- see tug.org/fonts/licenses/GUST-FONT-LICENSE.txt (http://tug.org/fonts/licenses/GUST-FONT-LICENSE.txt) for details.
