A while ago, I created a word mark for a "center for personal development and growth" that had a new age hippy vibe. The logo featured a water droplet shape. Recently, I decided to take it a step further and develop an entire font using a leaf shape instead of a water droplet.
I began with the regular version, but it turned out to have an unconventional charm. To maintain consistency, I created two additional versions: one leaning left and the other leaning right. To differentiate them, I labeled them as bold and italic instead of using left and right since Illustrator wouldn't recognize them as belonging to the same font family.
Although the macrochaotic organic hippy style isn't really my personal preference, I decided to publish the font nonetheless. I believe there are always individuals who can find valuable applications for it. Whether it's oil companies attempting to "greenwash" their activities or organizations like Extinction Rebellion combating them, this font can serve a purpose. Just to clarify, I stand in support of the latter cause :)
