Another case of poor note-taking, Iâm afraid. The pattern for this typeface came from a Polish poster from the 1930s, but I didnât note the designerâs name. I beefed up the rather anemic letterforms with a fat outline to give the font a little more oomph. The name, translated from French, means simply âOld Warsaw.â
